Tonight my friend is coming over for a project "create the perfect mermaid skirt" sesh to design/sew/etc... sooo looking forward to what we can do with ridiculous amounts of black lace...ooohhh the possibilities!
This weekend was spent running necessary errands that I've been avoiding for far too long, wearing ridiculous amounts of costume jewelry, bundling up in massive sweaters in the evening, and sipping my favorite peppermint tea.
leopard print top-torn by ronny kobo, disco pant-aa, shawl-vintage, turquoise clutch-thrifted
I cannot get enough of this leopard print top! From it's structured shoulders to the soft jersey..mmm, best Christmas gift. I am not usually a fan of wearing animal printed items, however, there are those few times I will throw on a leopard or zebra print because it definitely spices up an otherwise all-black outfit. I decided on pairing this top with the disco pant from American Apparel (kind of hard to resist these pants, as they're perfectly body-hugging and ridiculously comfy). I also selected hot pink lipstick and a bright turquoise over-sized clutch, which I found berried in my closet. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the evening with leopard print, glowing colors, fun costume jewelry and delish food and margaritas!
It was quite amusing to watch Oliver's several attempts to get into the candy jar while shooting this. I've decided that these black glitter Tom's provide a much needed comfort to my feet and sometimes it's nice to take a step down from all of my wedges, heels, and the like.
