Same Love

Hat- Cheap Monday
Cardigan- vintage via Etsy
Jeans- Zara
Tank Top- Free People
Shoes- h&m
Clutch-vintage

I hope everyone had a terrific holiday!  Ours was lovely and mellow filled with Wil's homemade Eggs Benedict, tangerine mimosas, and some exciting presies.  This palest pink sweater is one of those perfect Etsy finds.  The color and softness are idyllic.  I'm slightly worried of spilling something on it or sitting down on some dirt, but I can't seem to not wear it!  I'm also a tiny bit addicted to these ribbed Free People tanks.  I've purchased several colors (white, black, and grey) and just seem to rotate them throughout the week. They're my grand excuse to skip the bra (as if I need an excuse...) because of the high neck and definitely not too much side boob.  Now off to pack for our short trip to Mill Valley.

Cheers!

Here are a few photos outside my parents house from last month when we were in Mill Valley for Thanksgiving.  I seriously can't get out of this hat from Squaresville, obviously.  I think I'm wearing it in every picture taken ;) I'm thrilled to head back up there in a week for the baby shower of one of my oldest and dearest friends.  Cannot wait to celebrate her new little girl!

Mine Would Be You

Coat & Jeans- Alameda Flea Market finds
Hat & Oversized Clutch- Squaresville
Sunglasses- Karen Walker via Shopbop

Of course as I'm posting this the weather here in L.A. has decided to get warm again, but I swear it was freezing a few days ago and I could finally wear some insanely large sweaters and coats!  It's a bit of a blessing that our house is quite chilly in the evenings so I can wrap myself in layers and sip whiskey by the tree while munching on freshly baked cookies.  I'm looking forward to warming our home with close friends this week and excited by a little rain possibly!

There is nothing like a good cozy beanie and some dark lips to get me into the holiday spirit!  It's been a bit of a hectic week but I'm happy it's nearing the end and excited to go Christmukkah tree shopping tonight with my love and some hot cocoa!  Have a beautiful rest of the week friends.

RIP Nelson Mandela.  Thank you for believing in humanity and giving hope to so many.

And So It Is

Plaid Blazer- thrifted
Sweatpants- Isabel Marant
Sweatshirt- James Perse via Pickett Fences
Shoes- H&M
Sunnies- Vintage via Etsy
Jewelry- Dkada and assorted
Lipstick- Revlon "Love That Red"

It's been so chilly here in L.A. that I decided to roll out of bed and go from pajamas to sweatpants.  I'm definitely not complaining though, I much prefer the cooler weather to the heat.  Many more options as far as wardrobe goes in my opinion.  I look forward to a season by our new fireplace bundled in sweaters and scarves sipping hot toddies and listening to Frank Sinatra and the Elf soundtrack, of course!

I Could Rest My Head just Knowing That You Were Mine

Hat-Virgo
Tee- thrifted from Squaresville
Blazer- thrifted ages ago from Goodwill
Jogger Pants- Urban Outfitters
Pumps- Growze
Clutch- Zara (old)
Rings- assorted from Etsy

My goodness this last month has flown by!  Although we are still settling into our new house and neighborhood I thought it was about time to post these pics we took a few weeks ago for Elle Girl Japan.  I am so grateful to Jumi at Growze for these stunning cube heeled pumps!  I've been wearing them with all my usual suspects; trousers, skinny jeans, and baggy sweaters.  I can't believe November is almost over and Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends next week and doing lots of creative projects in the coming months for our new place.  Sending love and holiday joy to everyone out there...

Madonna Part II

On Me: Pants-Stylestalker, Silk bodysuit & robe-thrifted, Heels-Zara, Sunglasses-Karen Walker 'Super Duper', Lipstick-Mac 'Russian Red'
On Wil: Shirt-Topman, Jacket- Barney's, Boots-Wolverine

Oy, it's been a hectic week!  We've been packing up the house non-stop in preparation for our move to the new house, quite exciting!  Anyway, here we are playing around before dinner a few weeks ago at the Madonna Inn.  The lighting was so beautiful and it was the most lovely pre-fall evening outside.  Sipping champagne before dinner at a pink hotel is definitely my kind of perfect.  Now off to do more packing and work!

Madonna Inn~Part I

Dress-Lucky Vintage Seattle, Etsy shop here. Bag & Sunnies- thrifted, Lipstick-Lime Crime

For our first wedding anniversary Wil surprised me with a road trip up to San Luis Obispo for a stay at the infamous Madonna Inn.  I was thrilled to finally see the inside of one of the rooms in person as we usually just stop in for coffee and a bite at the diner while on the road.  The entire inn is crazy cool and feels a bit like a themed hotel in Vegas (except the surrounding mountains and towns are so much better)!  I think I had a far too much fun frolicking around the grounds, taking funny photos and drinking strawberry daiquiri's by the pool.  I highly recommend a stay or visit here if you find yourself passing by the saloon looking pink hotel while driving on the 101 freeway.  It's a must-see.  You can read more about the history of the Inn as well as view photos of all the themed rooms on their website here.

Lip Service

SO into all these lipstick shades of pinky purples and iridescent glitter.  I also think every girl should have a neon sign and a telephone in the shape of lips, right?

Bisous!
