Went with my boyfriend to surf in Topanga a few days ago during the dreaded "carmageddon" here in Los Ange.  Had a beautiful afternoon in the sun with no crazy traffic, haha.  Looking forward to doing a bit of a re-vamp to the guest room this week as well as embarking on a few projects.  Cheers for now!

Summer Camping

Strawberries filled with nutella...UMMMM done and done.  Heading to Mendocino for a camping trip where I will be eating the above with mimosas tent side.  Going to take tons of pretty wilderness pics, enjoy your week all!

A few shots of me sweltering in the heat at Barnsdall Park with the boys.  Is it crazy that I'm already looking forward to Fall??  I can't help it, imagining all sorts of blue velvet, black leather, and masses of knits...for now though, I'm enjoying the beautiful weather and trying to have as many mimosa brunches and picnics in the sun as possible!

Endless Summer

My boyfriend, being as lovely as he is, surprised me with a picnic yesterday afternoon at the little meadow in Silverlake.  The spread was a stunning mix of our favorite cheeses, baguette, strawberries and homemade orange juice.  Absolutely delish!  We decided it was the perfect way to start off Summer, although the breeze made it slightly chilly.  Also took a few fun, wind-blown minutes to snap a couple pics of the rainbow shawl and beautiful watercolor dream coat from my vintage shop on Etsy!  These pieces are truly dreamy and make me think of Summer every time I look at them, so I thought I would share.  Get into all the vintage goodies at the shop HERE.  Anywho, I haaaave to mention my lurve for these silver, pointy toed, platform creepers.  Saw them and died. Jeffrey is too good...again.
